Car tuners are not exactly renowned for beimg the most modest sorts and are prone to coming out with wildly exaggerated claims, but surely the latest from Edo Competition has to take the biscuit - or should that be barmbrack?
The latest offering from the German tuning house, a Porsche Panamera S, is said to come "straight from hell." Better yet the car itself has been christened 'Hellboy' presumably because, with 465bhp and 406lb.ft of torque, it packs a punch like the comic book hero of the same name.
Work carried out to achieve these improvements includes dyno tuning and recalibrating the ECU and fitting a custom exhaust system that is not only less restrictive but also 35kg lighter than the factory unit. As a result, Hellboy can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 190mph.
On the handling front Hellboy gains an electronic lowering module that can bring the body up to 30mm closer to the ground. Also included are 21-inch alloys shod in 265/35 ZR 21 at the front and 305/30 ZR 21 at the back.
